There is a tinge of the romantic run-

uing through the history of the two criminals that would be of great value to the writer of yellow-covered literature, were not the circumstances, unhappily for such a purpose, true. The girl, who is scarcely more than nineteen, aud who appeared very modest and pretty when arraigned before the court yesterday morning, in garments suited to her own sex, is the daughter of very respectable parents, aud had a good home but sometime since she became attached to her fellow defendent, and left every thing—parents, home, good name and all, to follow him. Since then they have become very reduccd iu circumstances, and have been compelled to seek any shelter and wear any sort of clothes. And finally, in the endeavor to obtain relief, they were led to the commission of crime. Through all this the girl has followed the fortunes of her companion rather than return to her home.

After the sentence was pronounced the Chief of Police, to whom all these details were familiar, suggested to them that they had better be married before their departure for Waupiu- Apparently this met their views exactly, and, in a few minutes, Justice Rottinger had performed the ceremony, with officers of the court and members of the police as witnesses aud spectators. A Strange Wedding Tour from the Altar to the State Prison. Mr.M.L. lasting from half an hour to one and a half hours at the snmo time the child had very strong symptoms of worms. My physician—one of tho best in this part of the country—exhausted alt his skill and tho MntcriaMcdien to expel the worms, and entircly failed to bring any. 1 thought *'John Hull" could do it, and gave the child the contents of three boxes, i:. triple doses, night and morning, whh happy results. CHILLS &C fever!

The proprietor of this celebrated medicine justly claims for it a superiority over all remedies offere4 to tho public, for tho safe, certain, speedy and per* munent euro of Ague and Fever, or Chills aud Fever, whether of short or long stundipg. Jio refers to

the entire Western and South-wcBtcrn country Jo bear him testimony to tho truth of the assertion,, that in no case hatevcr will it fail to cure, if tho directions are strictly followed and carried out. In a great many cases a single doso has boen sufficient for a cure, and whole families have been cured by a single bottle, with a perfect restoration of the goneral health. It is, however, prudent, and in every

case more certain to cure, if its use Is continued in smaller dosos for a week or two after the disease has been checked, more especially in difflotylt and long standing cases. Usually, this medicine will not require any aid to keep the bowels in good order: should the patient, however, requiro a cathnrtic medicine, after having taken three or four doses of

tho Tonic, a single doso of HULL'S VKOKTAHLE FAMILY PILLS will be sufficient. I)K. JOHN HL LL'S Principal Office:
