The nows was that L. A. FOOTE A CO. had just rooeired a large lot of New Goods,making theirs took fuller and more complete than it had over been, and the beststook in their line ever in tho city of Crawfordsrille.

Repassed whore hangs tho sign o'er hoad "No farther go," a young-man sai&. "You'lT find no bottor far or wide'"— And loud that saxe-horn voice rcpl icd:

"GOOD NEWS!"

For tho information of tho public, we would say that the sign referred to is that of the "COBNER HOOK STORE," (yon can see it from oither Green or Vernon streets,) and the young man who stopped tho traveler was John R. Robinson, Jr., who has been in the establishment a year, and being well posted in the business,know what ho was talking about when ho told the gentleman with tho lmnner to stop. The reason we have for this belief is. that if ho had found the "Corner" he would have bought so many entertaining Books that ho would never have undertaken that journoy, but have stayed at home and made a quiet citizen.
