Points within the City of Orawfordsville, for Pay 'infl Hire,, and the Ampint to.be charged by the 'Owners Thereof for Transporting Passetigcrs ind their Baggage, and to prohibit Minors from [Driving am/ such Vehicle, unless Specially permitted, and providing Penalties for Violation of its Provisions. SEC: I. B.e it ordained by tho Mayor and Common Council of tho City of Crawfordsvillo. That the owner of evory public hack, carriage, express wagon,.or other vehicle kept for tho purpose of transporting passongers, freight or other arliclos, to and from points within tho city of Crawfordsville. for hire or pay, beforo he shall be permitted to uso tho sumo for sui'h purpose, shall tirst pay into the hands of tho City Tretisuror the following sums, to-wit Twohorse hacks, carriages, .express wagons, or orhcr vehiclcsfor passengers, bhggnge or freight, Ton Dollars One horse carriage, express wagon or othor vehicle for passengers, baggago orl'reight. SEC. 2. The Mayor on receipt of application for such license, accompanied with tho receipt of the City 'frewwrer for any of tho abuvo enumerated sums, shall'file the'game in his ofllco and issue li cense to said applicant.

SEC. 3. No person under tho ngo of twenty-ono years shall drive or control any public hack, carriage, express wngonor othor vcihiele used for tho purposo of transporting passengers, baggage or freight to and from points within tho City of Crawfordsville, unless ho shall have obtained permission so to do from the Mayor of said City, which permission the Mayor may at any time revoke, nnd any person under the •ago of twenty-ono years, who shall drive or control or attempt to drive or oontrol any such public hack carriage, express wagon, or other vehicle, used for tho transportation of passengers, baggage or freight as aforesaid, without having ebtiiined sueh pcrmiss ion to do so, of tho Mayor of the City,of,On\rfords ville, shall bo lined thorcl'or in any sum not exceeding fifty dollars.
