Our LETTER A FAMILY SEWING MACHINE is fast gaining a world-wide reputation. It is beyond doubt tho best, cheapest and most beautifu. Family Sewing Machine yet offered to the public. No other Family Sewing Machine has so many useful appliances for Hemming. Binding. Felling, Tucking, Gathering, Gunging, Braiding, Cording and so forth. Noothor Machine has so much capaoily for a great variety of work. It will sow all kinds of cloth, and with all kinds of thread, Great and recent imnrnyemcnt? make this Machine reliable, durable, and most ccHaih'ln action

makes tho interlocked stitch, which is the Dost siiw-v. known. Any one. ef ordinary capacity, can see, at a glance, how to use our letter A Machine.

The Folding Case of this Machine is a piece of canning workmanship of the most useful kind. It protects the machine when not in use, and when about to be oporated may be opened as a spaoious and substantial table to sustain tho work. While some of the Cases, made of tho choicest woods, are finished in the simplest manner possible, other* aro adorned and embellished in tho most costly and superb manner.

It is absolutely necessary to see tho Family Machine in operation, to judge of its great capacity and beauty.

It is fast becoming as popular for family sowing as our Manufacturing machines are for manufacturing purposes.

MACHINES FOR MANUFACTURING PURPOSES.

Our Nos. and 2 Machines aro of great capacity and application for manufacturing purposes—tailoring, shoe fitting, and so forth.

Our No. 3 Maohincs (with Vibrating Pressor, which is indispensable for heavy patent leather work) are especially adapted to all kinds of light and hoavy Leather Work, in Carriage Trimming, Boot and Shoe Making, Marness Making, etc., otc. They are of extra size, with an rm long enough to take under it nnd stitoh the largest sized carriage dashes. Thoro scarcely any part of a Trimmer's stitching that cannot bo bettor dono by them than by band so. too, tho saving of time and labor is very great. The table of these Machines is 24 inches long, and the shuttle will hold six timos as much thread as tho shuttle of thoso used for tailoring purposes. Tho largo machines work as fast as small ones.

Tho public have been swindled by spurious machines made in imitation of ours. Tlio metal in 'them, from the iron casting to tho smallest piece is of pooc quality. It is ftply by doing a great business, and having extensive manufacturing establishments, that good machines can be made at moderato prices. The best designod Machines. BADLY MADE, are always liable to get oat of order, and arc suro to cost considerable trouble and money to keep them in ropair.

Tho qualities to bo looked'for in a mocliine are: certainly of correct action at all rates of tpced, m\}licity of construction, great durability, and rapidity of operation, with the least labor.— Machines, to combine theso ossential qualities, must bo made of tho best metal and finished to perfection. Wo havo the ways and means, on a grand scalc, to do this.

Tho purchasers of Machines, whose daily bread it may concern will find that thoso having the above qualities not only work w»ll nt rapid as well as slow ratos of spood.but lost longest in the finest possible working order. Our Machines, AS MADE BY US. will oarn more money with less labor than any others, whether in imitation of ours or not. In fact thoy aro cheaper than any othor Maohines as a gift.

All genuine Singor Machines will be repaired (though it seldom happens that they requiro it) ot tho ofiloeB of our agents.

Tho Branch Offices aro well supplie^with silk, twist, thread, needles, oil, Ac., of the vory best quality.
