One Thousand Dollars a year. In all private families where there is much sewing to be done these machines are an invaluable assistance. Plan ten and hotel keepers find them particularly convenient and profitable. These machines are simple in their construction and verv strong and durable, being the only kind of Sewing Machine ever made, by which every sort of work, coarse or fine, could bo perfectly executed. Thousands of inferior and worthless Sewing Machines have been made and sold under various names, bnt Singer's Machines alone have been found everywhere to Batisfv the wants of the public.

Piain printed instructions for using, aro sent with each machine, from which any one can readtly acquire the art of managing them. The machines are packed securely to go to any part of the world. To all persons desiring more particular information we will, on application by letter at either of onr offices forward a copy of 1. M. Singer & Co's Gazette, a paper wholly devoted' to the Sewing Machine interest.

SINGER'S SEWING MACHINES.

GREAT

SUCCESS is always the most conclusive proof cf great merit. Judged by this test there is no labor-saving machine before the public comparable to Singer's Sewing Machines. After establishing the highest reputation in the United States'they were exhibited at the late "Exposition Univcrsclle" in Francc, where they carried off the highest premium and a great manufactory to make them has been built in Paris.

In every Branch of Industry

In which sowing is to be done, these machines can be used with immense profit. As the speed of the Railway train is to traveling On foot, so is sowing with Singer's Machines compared with hand-sew-ing. No tailor, shoemaker, dressmaker, carriage trimmer, saddler, hatter, Ac., &c., should be withont one. Tho fair profit of using one of these machines, regularly employed, is
