DIAMOND FOUND IN PENNSYLVANIA.—A uppo-ed diamond of extraordinary -ize it i- .-tated, has recently been found in Lancaster county. Pa., and is deposited in Prof Phillip's office, Philadelphia. It is colorless, p' rf'.-ctiy erystalme, resembling a drop of el'-ar spring water, in the middle of which you wid perceive a strong light, playing with a good deai of spirit. The geologist does not pronounce it to be of the first water, although there is not the least donbt of its being of considerable value.— importance, it is said, have been declined for it. Nothing, it is supposed, like it, was ever discovered before in the United States.

Sir. CHARLES NAPIER AND SEBASTOPOL.—Sir Sharle.i Napier, in a speech at the Southwark election, the day before the Jialtk sailed, remarked: "It bad been said Sebastopol must be taken, but he would lake the liberty of saying that he very much doubted if Sebastopol could be taken, although he knew our men would march up to anything, and do all that it wai in the power of man to effect.'
