ANOTHER GREAT FIRE. SfOO.OOO Worth of Property Burnt at Louisville.
L^st night, about 11 c.ock, a firpbroke
the lumber yard of Messrs. Hailing-* La-
cy, which contained a large amount of No. 1 lumber, all of which was consumed.— The yard extends to Green street, on the opposite side of which were several frame and brick buildings, which soon became a jfrey to the devouring element. On the other side of the mill, on Jefferson street, tie fire extended to a two story dwelling1 house and a stable. When he left the scene there were six houses burning 6n Green street, and two on Jefferson
Water was not to be j^ad, notwithstanding the almost superhuman efforts of our gallant fire corps, and there was a prospect of the fire extending, ad infinitum. It is 'supposed that it is the work of an incediary. [Louisville Times, 9.1th.
