PIANOS.
The sweetest toned piano on the market. Read what »ome of its friends have to say about it: 7Y IHioin II Mmj V"nccni:
I bought a Decker Brothers piano from Mr. George l'\ Hughes in lb'.'O. It has given perfect satisfaction. 1 have no fault to find with it. I think it a Sri'EKiou instrument. In quality of tone it cannot be excelled. After four years' trial we will say that if we should buy another piano we would select the Decker.

A Threatened Lynching.
Lebanon has had a narrow escape from a lynching. On Monday night Jake Shaffer was brought down from Thorntown and put in jail, charged with shooting Tom Taylor. The next day Jos. Conrad was placed in jail for killing John Mare/, at Zionsville. At the latter place the feeling was so in tense that a mob was formed to go to Lebanon and lynch Conrad, and they did not .seem to care if Shaffer would get a dose also. The Lebanon sheriff got word of the mob. and he hustled the two men overland to Frankfort, where they are now in jail. Thus the purposes of the mob were frustrated.

Fanny Woods, an aged negress, had her dress ignited as 6he fled from the burning house and she ran sur« rounded by tho flames till she fell dead.
