:The sweetest toned piano on the market. Read what some of its friends have to say about it: .To Whom It Mini Ciinirm:

I bought a Decker Brothers piano from Mr. George F. Hughes in lsyo. It *has given perfect satisfaction. I have no fault to find with it. I think it a

Si I'KKLOK instrument. In quality of tone it cannot be excelled. After four years" trial we will say that if we should buy another piano we would select the Decker.

A LAD OF SERVE.

With HW Arm Shuttered By a Uuu Shot Wound lie Kllei Six Mller In the Wind.

Yesterday morning Robert Vannice, an lS-year-old lad of the Kingslev's Chapel neighborhood, was hunting along the banks of Sugar Creek. In some way he slipped down the bank and his gun was discharged, a heavy load of shot passing through the bones of his arm. The elbow was blown off and all the bones badly shattered. Most persons would have fainted, perhaps. under similar circumstances. Not so with young Yanniee, however, lie dropped his gun and hurried to his home, some distance away. With his uninjured arm he saddled a horse and leaping upon it, left on a gallop through the chill wind for Darlington, six miles away. lie reached there safely and his arm was dressed by Drs. Dunnington and Berryman. It is feared that the member will have to be amputated, but the dectors have some hopes of saving it.

nero to I*l»re Your Hopes.

There are dozens of ways to try to catch the public eye. but there is only one best way—put your hopes in the newspaper. Talk about some certain thing and get ready for the customers. If it is a good thing at the right price, and you have told about it plainly and forcibly, you will sell it sure. If your business is not large enough to justify extensive advertising, better confine your work to the columns of the best paper in the town. Better turn a deaf ear to everything else until you have made a strong and deep impression upon the readers of the best paper. It is a pretty sure thing that the best people in town—those whose trade is most desirable—are the ones who take the best paper. Its circulation is made up of the cream of the community.and and you had better get all the trade you can out of that circulation before vou turn to something else.
