MRS. KITTlE TOWHSLEY.
A Deserved Tribute by Her Pastor, fiey. G. P. Fuson. Rev. G. P. Fuson, of this city, delivered the uddress at the funeral of Mrs. Will Towneley at Danville on Thursday eveoin*. The following is a seleotion made.from his remarks: "I did not come to talk—I came to weep with these sorrow stricken friends. I have known Kittie Townsley ub mt six years. It is now nearly six years since she became a member of the First Baptist church of Crawfordsville, Ind., where I have the hoDor to preside as pastor. I knew more, perhaps, ot her religious life than anyone else, outside of her own home. "Her position in the church as organist, a position which she held before she became a member, and continued to hold muoh ot the time since, made our relations closer and more intimate than with some others. I saw her laet on the first day of October, the day our new ohuroh was dedicated, an oocaeion ot supreme interest to her. During the week before, I called upon her at her home to advise about the music.
There was a hitch iu the choir (nothing more unpleasant than a disappointment) and when our plans wore completed ehe said: 'I am going away on Monday. I should have gone this week, but tor the dedication. I oould not bear to leave my church until after that day,' When the day came she was in her place at the organ, morning and evening and then went out of the churoh, and out of our sight forever. "She was always cheerful, hopeful and faithful. For six years, intimately associated with her in ohurch work, I watched her Christian walk and growth, and never found a false note anywhere. She always responded promptly to every call for any servioe that she could perform. I can see her face now, beaming with spiritual light, as she would exclaim 'O, how I have enjoyed this day! That sermon has helped me so muoh!' "She taught a class ot boys in the Sunday school and it was inspiring to see the mutual love of teacher and pupils. At one time the superintendent suggested to me that ehe ought take another olass. I spoke to her about it, and she said quickly: 'I oan't leave my boys. I have their confidence, and love them so much! I am sure that I can do them good.' A hint to the boys brought similar expressions of confidence and they still talk of the old teacher and wish for her return. "She was one of the most beautiful
Christians that I ever knew. Ot her loyalty to principle, and sincere piety I never for one moment entertained a doubt. And, even now, in this dark hour, while the shadow of death is upon this home, if I oould doubt her Christianity and the peaceful rest of her soul, the same doubt would darken my own prospect for Heaven."

K. B. F. Peirce has settled every doldar of his indebtedness acid also the icdebtednees of other men whose failure made him responsible. To do this he was obliged to raise about $80,000 in cash and he did this in a remarkably short time. His actions throughout the Indianapolis business troubles have been most commendable.

The readers of this paper will be pleased to learn that there is at least one dreaded disease that bcience has been able to cure in all its stages and that is catarrh. Hall's Catarrh Cure is the only positive cure now known to the medical fraternity. Catarrh being a constitutional disease, requires a constitutional treatment. Hull's Catarrh Cure is taken Internally, actiuf? directly upon the blood and mucous surfuces of the system, thereby destroying the foundation of the disease, and giving the patient strength by building up the constitution and assisting nature in doing its work. The proprietors have so much faith in its curative powers, that they offer one hundred dollars for any esse that it fails to cure. Send for list of testimonials.
