JORDAN-GRAHAM.
Brilliant Marriage Consummated at High Noou To-Day, A very |rr-tty home weeding was eonsuir.mateJ at high noon to-day nt the residence of Mrs. Kntherine iraham on east Main Hired, which united tht fortunes of Miss Anna (iraluim and Mr. Wright Sylvester .Ionian, of ludiannpolis. Tim alTair was complete in all its details and proved one of the. most brilliant social alTairu which Crawfordsville lnis witnessed for some time.. The decorations of the residence were both tasteful and beautiful. The several rooms of entertainment were shaded with soft lights, blue predominating in the hall, yellow in the bed room where the presents were displayed, crimson in the parlors and pink in the dining noma. The colors were (if the most exquisite and delicate shades and the effect produced was a most pleasing one. The lloral decorations were quite elaborate especially in the parlors which were made to resemble uluioft. a conservatory by reason of the display of beautiful Mowers and iminsnso palms and other potted plants. The chandeliers, curtains and mantels were gracefully garlanded with smilax and bouquets of roses adorned the piano, stands and tallies. Miss Margaret
Morgan' presided at the piano and promptly at noon began playing the beautiful Mendelssohn wedding march. During the ceremony "Call ?Ie Thine Own" was played soft and low rendering the occasion all the more .solemn and
impressive. The wedding procession entered by tha east door and proceeded to back parlor where the ceremony took place just in ront of an immense bank of tropical plants which completely filled
the bay window. The procession was led by JJishop Knickerbiicker of Indianapolis, the otliciating clergyman. He was followed by the groom and the bride's mother, MrK.firi.ham. They were followed by the maid of honor, Miss Bessie (iraham, who carried the roses and who was attired in an exquisite gown of pale blue siik trimmed with
lace. The bride followed, attended by her brother, Mr. (ienrire (iraham, who gave L' ay. She was allired in a rieatlv titling traveling gown red ami green valour, changeable colors, and trimmed in vel vet, iiassamenterie. She wore hat and
gloves to match tbd gown and carried a large boui[tiot of Jlareclial *eil roses. The ceremony was performed with the contracting parties facing tlie Bishop who faced the guests. The ritual used was that of the Kpiscopal church and included the ever beautiful ring cere inony and prayer. After congratulations an elegant wedding collation was served the guests in the dining room and at one o'clock Mr. and Mrs. Jordan left for the South on their extended wedding to: r. They will proceed from Cincinnati to Jacksonville, Florida, and from thence to -Tampa, probably visiting Cuba, t'pon their return they will stop for a season at Lookout Mountain and other points of interest in Tennessee, After December 'J5 they will be at home in Indianapolis to their friends. Mr. Jordan is a refined gentleman and is engaged in the railroad business holding a responsible position with the Big Four syelem. Mrs. Jordan has been one of Crawfordsvilli.'s most, popular and accomplished young ladies and has made busts of warm friends who unite in wishing her all future happiness while they with regret bid her farewell. The happy couple were the recipients of many handsome presents including nttmeroUB articles of silver cut glass onyx, etc.

Mike Manifesto.
Mike Lowne has entered suit for divorce against Nettie Lowrie, his wife. It wnB in tS8i) that they were happily married and after spending a delightful honeymoon on the sea shore began housekeeping under t'oe most auspicious circnmstances. Mark we say began, for know all men by these presents that they didn't continue housekeeping with the tranquillity incident to the ideal home. Far from it. The complaint states that Nettie wouldn't, sweep the (loot s, brush the cobwebs off the ceiliug, wash the dishes, chop wood or do any other of thoso delightful little duties incumbent upon and appreciated by the faithful and loving wife. 8be would sit around reading Browning or Edwin Arnold and when Mike wont away from tho house she would entertain literary gentleman of all classes and conditions. At least this is the allegation made iti tho complaint.
The Smiths.*
All who bear tho name of Smith wore proud of their relatives who gave the concert at, tho Y.M.C..V. hall, last evening. The Six Smith Sisters had a large and appreciative audience winch is much to thoir credit as Crawfordsville people are chary of attending concerts and are pretty bard to thaw out when they do go. The only drawback of the evening was the horse play of the ushers who sat on the back seats nnd clapped their hands long after all had ceased. This was an imposition both on the audienco and tho singers. Complaints were al6o made about the uncomfortable condition of the hall.

A Lively Tunc.
Persons who witnessed the charming performance of llie Manola-Mason compuny Monday evening and heard these two excellent stirs sing and mtiko love] doubtless left with the impression tl'.nt all was serene with them. Miss Manola is the wife or Mason and off the stage their course of love nins anything but smooth. She is an opium fiend and sadly belies her pretty fuce and beautiful voice. At the Uobbins Hour,e after the show she accused one of the actors of insulting her and in her room abused and villified tier husband all night long. He stood it patiently for over two hours and then began to return the compliments of his wife in language more emphatic than elegant. Both bowled and roared at once ami a couple of traveling men who occupied adjoining rooms slate that never in their lives did they hear such a double barreled tirade of abuse before. The whole house was aroused and scandalized by the unwonted noise.
