HKAZIL. NOV. S. Mrs. Sarah Shepui\», living a few miUks southwest of this city. met with a horrible death Tuesday nfternoou. She was 104 years old and lived with two of her stepsons on a farm. It was the custom of the boys to leave the old ladv at the house alone during the day while they worked on the farm. Tuesday evening they were attracted to the house by the old lady's screams, when they found her lyin£ on the floor in a nude condition, her clothing having burned from her body. She was terribly burned and died in a few hours. She was unconscious when found and was unable to tell how the accident occurred. It is thought her clothing- was ignited by

CORVDON', Ind., Nov. 3.—Sheriff Shuck was taken to .leffersonville Wednesday for safe keeping. Marshal lleath watmurdered in cold blood by Shuck Tuesday night.
