Personal Liberty Trampled Upon. It seems a rhame that personal liberty is so fast becoming obsolete. What is the world coming to whon man and wife cannot indulge in a few words of criticism in regard to each other's actions? It is coming, or rather lot us say, going to the dogs. Last evening Mrs. Malachi BillScottand her handsome husband fell out over the trilling matter of how Mrs Scott had best have her next winter's seal skin sacque cut. Malachi wanted black satin lining and she wanted black silk. The quarrel was a trilling affair and neither Mr. and Mrs. Scott was fatally wounded, although both will carry the scars to their graves. Everything would have been pleasant had not the police interfered and put Mrs. Scott in jail, where she reposed all night. As for Malachi, ho escaped by climbing a shade tree and very unreasonably refusing to come down.

Why It Was Done.
The reason, and tho only reason tint the Amfi-irmi Trihunr was made the official State organ of the P. O.
