F0LI0E BUDGET.

The Regular Monday Morn-ng Programme at the Mayor's Court. .)udgo Chumasero pri sided at the Mayor's court this morning with dignity and" impartiality, dealing ont justice with a firm hand, yet always tempered with morcy when the case called for it. Gaorge 'nners was discovered on the' railroad track Saturday evening, too full for utterance and was taken to the summer resort on the corner of Washington and Spr ng Btreets. He was sorry this morning that it had occnrred and thought that it would bo real nice if his honor would let him leave town. His honor, considering the youth of the offender, lined him but SI, but the costs make it SI 1.38, which he will work out on the store pile.

There was a war of words ni the Maud S yesterday even.ug about the time of Christian Endeavor meeting. Benjamin Boots, bartender, had opened up the place nnd contrary to the statootB" made and provided, was selling vinous, spirituous and malt liquors. David Pine and James Morgan had taken so much that they felt inclined to make sport of K. B. Smith, one of our most prominent colored citizens. In the language of the law they "provoked" him nnd consequently settled with Judge Chumnsero at the same old price. But everybody knows that 11. B. Smith is not slow when it comeB to talking. In fact the words How from ]{. IS.'s month like greased lightning. So war of words ensued which rivaled the late Democratic Congress. At the instigation of Pine nnd Morgnn Mr. Smith was arrested for provoke but- he pleaded not guilty and his trial is set for next Wednesday morning. Mr. Benjamin Boots, bartender, also cauie in for his contribution to the school fund which was $19.10. It was wrong of Mr. Boots to open up on Sunday but it was very commendable in the police to nab him.

After some discussion it was decided to have the next reunion at Frankfort on the 5th and 0th of October. Mnny of the members will go to Washingtonto attend the National meoting of the Grand Army and will want to stop on their way home. This date was fixed so aa to allow them a reunion with their old comrades on the same trip.
