A GREAT SU00ESS.
Music Hall Packed to Wiiuess the .Presentation of the National lower.
soon as tbe doors of Music Hall wore opc-ued Inst evening the people began to poiii* in nnd at eight o'clock every seat in the building had been sold and standing room was at a premium. The audience tvas a select one. too, and for the first- time this season the ear splitting whistle of the unsaved gallery god was noticeably absent. As soon as possible after eight o'clock the curtain was rung up and a very charming spectacle, indeed, was presented. There was a court scene and upon the bench sat the judge in the person of Miss Mary Campbell, who was appropriately attired in the regalia appertaining to a judge of national court. Upon her left was a sour looking individual, whom a comparison of notes, on the part of the audience, disclosed to be Mr. Kd McXutt, who took the part of a crabbed court bailiff and acted throughout with perfect nat uralness. Upon the court's right was Uncle Sam, impersonated by Mr. Harry Kico, whose costume was only surpassed by his presence of mind at critical periods. But the jury! There is where was presented the concentrated loveliness and beauty of the city. Twen-ty-four exceedingly pretty and graceful maids composed that body and acted their parts to perfection. Their singing was excellent, their flirtation was superb and as to their Delsarte glide— well it *was "super visionem/' Misses Belle Hall and Amanda Keller who took the part uf
k,old
maids" had costumes
which were perfect in every detail and the part they took in Jmaking the performance successful and enjoyable cannot be too highly rated. They kept up the stage movement in the interims usually so noticeable in amateur performances. Messrs. K. H. Thomson and A. A. McCain appeared in excellent "make upa" as the attorneys and also assisted in relieving the action of the performance. The first flower chorus was by the daisies and was excellently rendered by the little Misses who appeared in appropriate costumes.
The daisies were followed by the lilies and roses whose singing and drills were very creditable indeed and the young Mieseft appeared at their prettiest.
The sun Ho'.ver as represented by John Blair was excellent both as to his costume and execution and elicited considerable applauso. Tom Moore represented the onion and was nauseating. In the second act the weed chorus proved one of the features of the evening and was highly enjoyable. The audience applauded them most hearily and the weeds res]onded most graciously.
Mr. Fred Steele, who impersonated the "old oak tree," and Mr. Fred Wishard, the "Canada thistle," were both excellent and carried out their parts in a skillful and approved manner. Miss Maude Cowan represented the "four l*af clover*' and represented it well, being encored enthusiastically by the audience as was Miss Ora Moffett who appeared as "Golden Rod'' and whose sing* ing was one of the very best features of the entiro evening. The instructions to the jury by the court were wplendidly,
executed and tho chorus by the jury was of etftuil merit. Tlio swing scene which introduced the lust act was excellent and the solo by master John Cosa which closed the scene brought down the house.
The performance closed with the return of the disagreed jury and the fluid award of the honor of National tlowor to "the wheat Hour" by unanimous consent at the suggestion of Uncle Sain who introduced his favorite in a barrel which falling open disclosed little Miss Bessie Graham, who was appropriately attired to represent our "National flour."
The "Delsarto movement" by ths closing chorus was very tine and was greatly appreciated. Too much praise cannot be bestowed on the ladieB managing the affair or on Miss Martha Hall who presided

There ts more Catarrh in this section of the country than all other diseases put together, nnd until the last few years wns supposed to be incurable. For great mauy years doctors pronounced it a local disease, and prescribed local remedies, and by constantly failing to cure with local treatment, pronounced incurable. Science has proven catarrh to be a constitutional disease, and therefore requires a constitutional treatment. Hall's Catarrh Cure, manufactured by F. J. Cheney & Co., is the only constitutional cure on the market. It is taken internally in doses from 10 drops to a tetispoonful. It acts directly on the blood and mucous surfaces of the system. They offer one hnndred dollar for any case it fails to cure. Send for circulars and testimoniils. Address.

The term "delicate health" is used to expi'ess a physical condition, in which the powers of nature appear to be partially exhausted, and the system is peculiarly sensitive to .all morbid influences. Slight causes, which would produce no disturbance ^whatever in the body or mind of a robust individual, prostrate the strength and depress the spirits of persons in delicate health.
