Allow mo to add my tribute to the ef flcacy of Ely's Cream Halm. I was suffering from a severe attack of inllii enza rind catarrh and was induced to try your remedy. I could hardly articulate, and in less than twenty-four hours tin catarrhal symptoms and my hoarseness disappeared and 1 was able to sing heavy role in Grand Opera with voice unimpaired. I strongly recommend it to all singers.--Wm. II. Hamilton, lead Basso of the C. D. IJess Grand Opera.

iosiiKN. Ind., April HO. -.Serious muddles have arisen in some of the cities about here over the regulations of the new election 'law. At Napanee the republicans held their caucus Monday night and the prohibitionists last Friday night, but neither party presented the names to the clerk until Tuesday morning. being but thirteen days before the election, the law requiring fifteen days, The democrats have not even held their caucus yet. The result will probably be that the election will go by default and the present officials hold over. At Milford the republican ticket was thrown out bj* the election committee as irregular, which leaves the fight tc. the democratic, peoples' and prohibition tickets.
