Richards, one of the, oldest printers in the country, died of old ag-e nt the home of Ills daughter, Mrs. Klum, West Kerry street, Thursday morniiijf. .Mr. Richards lieyan as an apprentice boy in Philadelphia in lS-'H, mid ever since lias been engaged in tho printing business either as editor or compositor. lie emigrated to Indianapolis in 1S36. lie published the lilooiuingtou llemocrat awhile and then the Martinsville Journal, and for thirteen years has been with the Tern Sentinel. Since ISiU he lias made his home iu Wabash and has worked at the case eontinueuslv here and at Huntington until last fall, when old age made it necessary for liini to unit. Mr. Richards was SJ years old.

They also decided to put in several patent lime kilns, and, as they have completed arrangements for the sale of their entire output of lime, this will be an important branch of the enterprise.

Halfour claims that the sales resulted from a mistake 011 the part of his bookkeeper, lie was held in $1,000 bonds.

Citizens of the place have been indignant over this state of affairs for some tinif. and it is probable decisive action will be taken soon.
