1M Grippe,
No healthy person need fear any dan gerous consequences from an attack of la grippe if properly treated. It is much the same its a severo cold and requires precisely tho same treatment, lvemain quietly at homo and take Chamberlain's Cough Hemedy as directed for a severe cold and a prompt and complete recovery is euro to follow. This remedy also counteracts any tendency of la grippe to reBult in pneumonia. Among the many thousands who have used it during the epidemics of tho past two years we have yet to learn of a single case that has not recovered or that has resulted in pneumonia. 25 and SO cont boHlw for «ale by

WOULD IT
Would the jiassago of a free rilver bill benefit the farmer? That eeetns to bs the main argument in favor of the silver bill that it will benefit tho farmer and anything that promises benefit to th.it class appears to be the all-absorb-ing theme. That the general prosperity depends largely upon the farmers prosperity no one wilj deny, therefore it is well to look into this measure and, if possible, ascertain what effect it will have. If the free coinage of silver should result in inllation, then the purest dollar, which passes current forn hundred cents would bo made of silver worth not more than 75 cents and consequently we would have 25 cents worth of fiat on every dollar. This would raise the price of 75 cent wheat to one dollar. This, the farmer thinks, would be good financiering, because the price of his produce would be increased 25 per cent. But wou.ii it? Let I see. Cheap money would, as it always has, take the place of dear money, for every nation having silver would dispo^e of it at the rate of 95 cents worth of silver for one dollar's worth of gold. Then we would be a silver nation without any gold. The result of this exchange would lie, everything we are compelled to buy abroad wonld be sold to us at gold prices, while our products would ba sold at silver prices. The farmer would thus give mora than he would gain by inflation. Wo have tried inflation and found that when settlement day comes we lost more than we had gained. One such an experiment
Bhould satisfy a sensible people. Fiat silver is a first cousin to fiat paper and wouid result as fatally to the country as did ite paper cousin.
In the history of tho country we have never had a better financial system than the present and no country on the globe has so go'id. The ones who are claiming for free silver are the ones who supported the greenback craze and of a kind who support lotteries anil other dollar-for-a cent schemes.
Couuh l'itlutvil\ the Crip.
Many persons, who have recovered from la grippe are now troubled with a persistent cough. Chamberlain's Cough Remedy will promptly loosen this cough and relieve the lungs, effecting a j»ermanent cure in a very short time.

Among the thousands of testimonials of cures bv Dr. Miles's Xew Heart Cure, is that of Nathan Allisonp, a well known citizen at (ilen Kook, l'a., who for years had shortness of breath, sleeplessness, pain in left side, shoulders, smothering spells, stc. one bottle of Jr. Miles' New Heart Cure and one box of Nerve and Liver I'ilis, cured him. Peter Jaquet, Salem. N. J., is another witness. For twenty years suffered with Hea. Disease, was turned away by physician, as incurable, death stared him in the face, could not lay down for fear of smothering to death. Immediately after using New Cure he felt better and could lay down and sleep all night, and is now a well num. Tho New Cure is sold, also free bo' k, by Nye Co.

Deafness is caused by an inflamed condition of the mucous lining of the Eustachian Tube. When this tube gets inflamed you have a rumbling sound or imperfect 'hearing, and when it is entirely closed, Deafness is the result, and unless the inflammation can be taken out and this tube restored to its normal condition, hearing will be destroyed forever nine cases out of ten are caused by catarrh, which is nothing but an inflamed condition of the mucous surfaces.
