Train Wreckers To-nteht.

The piece portrays American life of the present time, and abounds in breathless climaxes, pretty love scenes and bright comedies. A play for the people, not full of blood and thunder, or taken from a dime novel, but a representative American drama, pictnring in all its vivid colors tho conflict between capital and labor. Tho scenery used in the production of "Tho Train Wreckers" is all new and original, and the mechanical effects, such as the cyclone, the explosion. and the wonderful train-wreck-ing scene, out marvel anything heretofore produced on the modern stage.— Evening Gazette, Cedar Rapids, la. At Music Hall this evening.

Miss Olof Krarer.

Miss Olov Kraror, a little Esquimaux lady, and the only one in the United States, gave a delightful and entertaining lecture at the Washington Street Congregational Church last evening, to a large audience. Miss Krarer has been well educated. Sh° speaks pure and correct English, and is lively and intelligent. She gives an entertaining and instructive description of the life of her countrymen, their customs and occupations. She also sings some weird and sweet Icelandic songs. Miss Krarer will lecture again this afternoon.—loledo Blade. At the Y. M. C. A. auditorium next Tuesday evening.

A Happy Marriage.

Quito a gay party of young people nrrived from New Ross this afternoon and proceeded to the home of Mrs. Jennie Davis. Strange to relate Rev. G. W, Switzer was there when they arrived, and after a few commonplaces Howard Witt, of Anderson, and Miss Pearl Adkins, of New Ross, stood up and were united in the bonds of matrimony. It Wos a very pretty affair and the ceremony united two most excellent and popular young people. They are well known over this county and were both raised here. They will make their future home in Anderson where the groom has a prosperous business.

An Agreeable Surprue.

Last evening about twenty of the friends of Miss Ada Epperson tendered her a complete surprise at her beautiful home on south Green street. The evening was spent in dancing, games and taffy pulling. arc Itescrtbcd in a lecture Delivered by 31m. Or. Kendall, Before the lloiiimi Soclely of BosIon

Boston, Jan.20, '92. A large and ro fined audience of ladies greeted Mrs. Kendall upon tho occasion of hor second appearance boforo a Boston assemblage, this afternoon. In introducing her lecture the distinguished lady referred to tho true position of woman in society and how her physical condition affects her social and intellectual standing. Continuing she said:— "Those who have inndo carcfnl investigation tell us that heathen women aro much more able to endure pain than are tho women of civilization but civilived women resent tho charge that, they are weaker because they aro civilized. A distinguished writer Bays: 'If the women of civilization aro less able to endure than aro heathen women, it is a mere accidental circumstance and ono within their control.' When a woman has health, beauty is certain to appear even in features once plain. With the health and beauty in all their attractive uess a now lifo dawns, enjoyment bogins, aud all tho luxurious attendants of a honlthy body como forth. Tha maiden foels the glorious possibilities of life the mother feels conscious of tho grandeur of maternity and the joys of a family. .The Crea or has given both woman and man perfect physical forms, and each is constitutionally equal to all natural demands, but how much women suffer nnd in what numbers of cases is man alone to blame.

A few weeks ago I ro.eived a call from a charming lady who stated that she was suffering and wanted to know if I could in any way aid her. There is no doubt that thousands of women are suffering to-dny from similar troubles who do not recognize their cause so nearly as this old lady did. She felt languid, peevish, restless, blue. She had headache, backache, cold feet and sinking sensations. Her complexion was sallow her appetite fickle. I knew the cause nnd am happy to state that I was able to afford relief. "No woman is orer seriously sick for any length of time when the blood is pure, and no blood can be impure when the kidney and liver are in perfect order. I feel it my privilege to-day to say that I believe there is a means whereby women who are suffering can obtain complete relief, and those who are in health be continued in its enjoyment. A few years ago a prominent and wealthy gentleman residing in Rochester, N. Y., was given up-to die of Bright's disease of tho kidneys. By means of a simple and purely vegetable remedy he was restored io perfect health. So efficient did this remedy prove in the case of many woll known men. that it began also to be used by the ladies, and to-day, thousands of women in all parts of the land, owe their restored health and continued, happiness to the wonderful powor of Warner's Safe Cure. 'The performance of the natural functions of womanhood and motherhood is not a disease, nor should it be so treated. If, however, the blood be impure, it is certain to produce poisoning effects in the parts with which it comes in contact, and thus cause inflammations and the innumerable ills which make the physical life of women so hard to endure. I am aware a preju dice exists against proprietory medi cines, and that such prejudice is too often well founded, but we should discriminate—not condem all because some are inefficient. The merits of Warner's

Safe Cure have been proven beyond a doubt, because they deal directly with tho causes of all female troubles. "The minds and manners of American women are all that can be described but it is a lamentable fact that their physical frameB are far inferior in com parison with their social and montal characteri tics. The women of England are noted for their florid health those of Germany for their strong constitutions, ana the ladies of France for their ex uberanco of spirits but American women possess too few of these qualities in any prominence, and all of them only a slight degree. The reason of this must be plain to all careful observer.

Sedentary ways, devotion of fashion— but above all, and more than nil, care lossnoss and indifference to daily habits and duties, have rendered the women of this land far less strong and hoalthy than it is their duty or privilege to be, This irregular and indifferent manner of living brings about tho most serious results and is both directly and indirect ly of untold injury to the race. Tho cause, therefore, being manifested under the control of the women themselves, the power to remove it must naturally be theirs also. To maintain ones health the organs which make and purify the blood, must bo preserved in or restored to their nonnnl condition. These organs are tho kidneys and liver. Preserve

them nnd you preserve your life neglect them and you become sallow, languid aud unattractive."

Lecture on the World's Fair. Col. C. H. French, of Chicago, tho well-known stereopticon lecturer, is attracting audiences that crowd the larg est opera housos and halls in the coun try to the door. The great interest manifested in all parts of the world con cerning this greatest of expositions inspired Prof. French to enter upon the production of this now internationally famous lecture, at a cost of immense sum for stereopticon views alone. It is written in four parts, covering the history of Columbus, the marvellous growth of Ohicago from three log huts to a city of 1,300,000 people the history of every great exposition in the world, and the most elaborate description of the Fair of 1893 possible to put together. The whole lecture is beautifully illustrated with over 300 elegantly colored stereopticon views, showing Columbns at every point of his life taking tho audiences oi a carriage drive in Chicago where tho most entrancing views of the city are shown, and closing with a brilliant exhibit'on of the world's exposition, buildings, grounds, exhibits and towns. Prof. French has been on the road with this lecture but two months, and is always receiving calls from over thirty States for dates. The learned professor has traveled very widely, and is known upon the lecture platform from Alaska to Maine. Col. French will be at the Y. M. C. A. auditorium Feb. 11.

DEAFNESS CAN'l SECURED

by local applications, as they cannot reach the diseased portion of the ear. There is only one way to cure deafness, and that is by constitutional remedies. Deafness is caused by an inflamed condition of the mucous lining of the Eustachian Tube. When this tube gets inflamed you have a rumbling sound or imperfect hearing, and when it is entirely closed, Deafness is tbe result, aud unless the inflammation can be taken out and this tube reetornd to its normal condition, hearing will be destroyed forever nine cases out of ten are caused by catarrh, which is nothing but an inflamed condition of the mucous surfaces. We will give One Hundred Dollars for any case of Deafness (caused by catarrh) that we cannot cure by taking Hall's Catarrh Cure.
