The husband and wife had been quarreling since Saturday over some rent money paid to them. The wife wished for a dollar to buy some clothing for one of the boys. The husband did not wish her to spend the money for the purpose and threatcued to kill his wife, who iti iear ran from the dining-room out upon the porch. The husband rushed for his revolver, followed hi& wife outdoors and shot her through the bach, killing her instant* Iv. lie then turned the pistol upon
himself and blew out his brains.
