CoL, and Miss Minnie Swink were quietly married. The bride -has passed:' a greater part of her life here. While the groom, was bom here but bnt about 15 pears ago he started West on his, own .hook. On arriving in

cer HmTman, after a search, finally discovered his man lying under the apple trees on the common east of the Yandalia station. He hastily approached but the lad was on the alert and started for lie alley's corn field on the run. Mr. Huffman called a halt several times but as none was made by the nimble youth he drew his revolver and fired at him several times but without effect. The lad gained the sheltering corn field in safety and a prolonged search failed to disclose him. From a description which arrived on the morning mail from Plain field it was learned that his name is Bert

Walker, son of John Walker, of Indianapolis. and that he had been sent to the reformatory from that place.

The Secret of Fine Pastry.

Is wholly in using Dr. Price's Cream Baking Powder.

The only pure Cream Tarter Powder sold on the market.

Other brands contain either ammonia, alum or some other

adulterant. Ammonia or alum powders dry out. make the

dough too porous, leaving a bitter taste, etc.

No agency has assisted so much toward perfection in

cookery as Price's Cream Baking Powder. Its ingredients are simple and so blended as to exist in exact chemical proportions, so after use there is never any excess of either left in the food. Hence there can be no impurities whatever left in the finished food. No bitter taste, no taint of ammonia, but food raised with Dr. Price's Cream Baking Powder partakes of the natural sweet flavor of the flour and keeps moist and

fresh for days. This powder possesses qualities peculiar to it alone. No other makes such delicious i.-try. No other contains the white of eggs.
