LILLIAN LEWIS.

Music Hall To-Night—Credit Lorraine— A Great PlayMiss Lewis will appear to night in Mr. Mursion's groat piny, Crodit Lorraino, at Musio Hall. Of courso everybody in Crawfordsvilio knows Miss Lewis and everybody will of course be at the theater this evening to sue this great actress and personal favorite in her new play. Miss Lewis is this season surrounded by a company of excellent players. Tho pross from Now York to New Orleans has called speoial attention to this foot. Wherever she hat plnyod tho verdiot has been, not only that Miss Lewis is a great actress and that Credit Lorraine is a grand play, but that the company is the voiy bust organization on the read. What everybody says must be done. It is the living excitement of the play which has mado its wonderful success. The seoond act, the 1'aris Board of Trade, tho monetary arena, in which every man and woman has a personal interest,, is the chiof motive of the play. There is a vigorous and healthy atmosphore about this which iu itself is attractive. As enacted by Miis Lowis and her company it is the most intensely exacting picco of realism on tho stage. Another highly roahstio effect is the asFassiniition of the Minister of Police iu tuo third act. In this scene

Miss Lewis i4 ut lier bast and produces a marvelous effect. Siuou her las-t visit to Crawfordsvilio Miss wis has been iu Paris. All the costumes worn iu Credit Lorraino are of Parisian minufacturo aud some them aro extravagantly rich and beautiful. Tiio now f.imous ten thousand dollar costume Miss Lewis wears in the first act. Tlie DuulieEse point and appliquo lace llowors alone cost five thousand francs. Tho carriage costume of tho second act is fqually as rioh, aud if anything more handsome. MisB Lewis will give but ouo performance here. Tj-uight all lovers of go:d acting will ol' course attend.
