C. X. 'Williams has been obliged to keep in his business a record of all falls of suow sufficient to cover the ground. For the last live years the record has boon as follows: In tho winter of 85-0 one inch on December oth gone next day to be followed by 1 incuts December 12th. In '80-7 the tirst snow was on Thanksgiving day .ind was 3 inches. Iu '87-S tour inches fell on November Hi. Iu 'ss no snow fell until January Dth when 1: inches fell. In St'-UO ou Thanksgiving day, again, November loth two inches fell which quickly pissed oil" leaving the ground clear until February 7th when three inches full. We have yet to see tlio lirst real snow fall this winter.
Thanksgiving at the Orphan's Home. Thanksgiving at the Orphan's Home was observed in a royal good manner and a royal good dinner was served. The children enjoyed themselves as only children can and from the bottom of their little hearts extend thanks to the following good people who so liberally contributed to their comfort on that day: Miss Clara Crawford, Mrs. H.
