The ivabo corset, besides being tf-ugh, so tough in its bones" that they can't be broken or kinked or rolled up or slipped or shifted, lias flexible loop eyelets, instead of metal ones which cut the corset laces.
In no respect will the Kabo corset fail in a year, unless the steels break.., No way has yet been discovered to make unbreakable corset steels.
If the Kabo "bones" give out in a year, go to the store where you bought your corset *nd get your money back.
If, after wearing the Kabo two or three weeks, you don't .ike it, take it back and get your money.
There's a primer on Corsets for you at the store.

BOSTON AND THE METHODISTS.
It wiil not- probably greatly concern tho Meilioili.sts of tho United States to know what The Bastou Herald thinks of them. That paper us, however, dccided opinions abmit t) in and oxprr«soil the same freely oil tlu1 (KV^usion uf tho centenary of V. ihodism in New England not Ioiik Hjxo.
Tli« lleraM says the Methodists were "a rur.u'h set of people fifty y«rs ago," though in tho half century that has intervened New England Methodist have Kvn near enough to Ikwtnn to get some of the roughness nibbed off them, and have even secured in Tho Herald's judgment a sort of jHjlish by imitation from I5c.«tnii. They sot themselves to ediu-ate the young Methodists, and by patt-eminK after the Puritan academy that emanaUnl from Boston ninnv year.-" aso they have rualh- sue-c-tvded in spresuling a very tolerable education am their vonng people.
But it li.'us been a religious education, along narrow lines, and one that hat put the church ont of touch with other religions bodies. This is tho greatest fault The Herald finds with the Methodists of the iireae.nt. It cropped out in their centennial rejoicings. All was for the glory of tho Methodist church and that only, as if there were no other road to lieaven than through its portals. It is, in short, with them like tho rhoru* of one of their own ancient camp meeting fronts:
I'v sot Methwdiat rch^iuii.
The narrowness of range taken bv nearly all the speakers at the centemiry. cicept iKilinps Iiihliop Warren, both snrpriw ar.d grievel tho religious edit*'r of The Ilerjild. "This narrowness is iudewl notable on every occasion when Metliodist:- come together to consnlt about the interests of the kingdom of Gol." They rarely go beyond the line of insularity in any work, however great, that they undertake. Is it wise, asks tho writer, thus to ignore other religious bodies that are also engaged La Baving tho world?
'I he rnnnfer who wins in a foot race does so by means of tho mysterious I lower called second wind. Ho scorns often rather lacking at first, and does not always start out in the load. Iiu'. when the rest are broken down comes in the Winner's second wind. He is thoroughly roused. His eye flashes, his chest heaves in mighty breaths, ho sets his head doggedly forward and does his best running toward tho end of the mco, when he comes in gloriously at tho top. In a torse race tho bloodied steed dashes powerfully at tlie finish, while tho scrub is quickly discouraged and gives in. Behind tho first exhaustion tho thoroughbred has his second wind to fall back on.
The thoroughbred never gives up. but keeps on till he wins or dies in his tracks. Tho scrub gives in and balks. If ho were a human being ho would whine about bad luck and injustice. It is the second wind, tho staying qualities that win. They always conquer overything in the long run, and they conquer when nothing elso will.
The moral of the story yon can pick out for yourself.
Confirmed.

'The quartette is a model organization, and the rendition of each allotted number was suoceeaed by loud and prolonged recalls. Their vooalization was exquisito, and both shading and phras ing were of the most perfect order.
