Death of M.P. Dennis.

Milton P. Dennis was born in Henry county, Ind., July 5, 1835. His parents removed to Wisconsin during his youth and there he was married, the issue being two children, A. S. Dennis, of Kansas City, amd Mrs.T.N.Vernon, of Sloane, Iowa. Mr. Dennis served three years during the war In Co. D. 1st Wisconsin regiment. After the war he engaged in business in Howard and Hamilton counties in lSfiS lie engaged in the wholesale bulness in Indianapolis and in 1879 encaged in business with J. H. Siiueinthis city. In 1870 he uurrled Miss Clara Wjeeler, of Westfleld, and (i of their 7 children sdll survive with their mother. Mr. Dennis was renred as a Friend, his father and two uncles being ministers in that church. Mr. Dennis was model citizen honored and respected bv all who knew him. He has been sick for a year with consumption and last year in Juno wont to Colorado whore he remained unil March. Tho funeral will occur Sunlay at 2 p. m., conducted by the G. A, It. and Masons, liev. G.W. Switzernnd G. P. Filson ofliciating.
