Two Young People United in the Holy Bonds of Mntriiuuuy according to tho Bites of the Episcopal Ohurch.
Responding to invitations sent out a week or moro ago about seventy-live persons assembled at the Home of Sir. and Mrs. A. W. Binford last evening to witness tho marriage of their daughter, Julia Elizabeth, to Wnlter II. Kvaus. At half past eight the Crawfordsville orchestra began tho familiar strains of the wedding march and a moment later the bridal party appeared and took its placo in the parlor in front of a bank of green and under a canopy of stnilax. The four bridesmaids, Misses Edith Heaton, of Washington, D. C., Alethea Lusc, of Chicago, Augusta Binford, of Paris, III., and Sallio Newton, of this city, took positions on either side. Rev. George Swan," of Indianapolis, tho Episcapol rector, stood bet weon, tho gooom facing him. Last of all came tho bride leaning on the arm of her father and took his placo near her future husband. Tho ceremony was then performed according to tho beautiful rites of the Episcopal church which included the ring service. It lasted about ten minutes and then followed tho congratulations and refreshments. The brido wore a dress of jvhite faille francais with train, olbow sleeves and pointed neck.

This was merely doue for convenience in carrying the body.

Was sworn by tho clerk and a very old lady testified in a low weak voioe is a member of the Shawnee ohuroh and lives mile from parsonage kuew Pettit and wi'"e was present during Mrs. Pettit's last illness on Tuesday and Wednesday went at 10:30 on Tuesday, Mrs. Pettit was in a stupor and witness retired in half au hour. They gave ohloroform during that time when ever she moved her head Ycagor was there then. Witness"weut again ou Wednesday at 10 or 10:30 a. m., Mrs. Pettit was htill iu a stupor. Witness remained until 2:30 p. m.. remained in tho room uutil after the death patient continued iu a stupor until a few miuutes before her death she died in a convulsion witness held her hand then and it clamped her head was thrown baok and the face was ghastly witness saw Pettit give the oil it was in a tea cup. and he had a spoon hnt.woeD his fingers. Ho shook the cup before giving tho dose, Pettit raised his wife up saying "Hattie heie's a dose of oil. It's a big dose, two or three swallows took it, said nothing. Tins was half an hour before the death remember only Mrs. Whoeler being in tho room Pettit was on the north side of the bed and his wife's head was to the east remember nothing more of this incident saw Mrs. Pettit after her doatji but made

This remark was called out by things she had heard.
