Kabo never works up or down or breaks. If it poes ?n a year,' you shall have your money back from store where you bought your corset.

The steels may break— the best of steels have their limits of strength. But Kabo has no breaking-limit it doesn't break at all.

And the Kabo corset is perfect in form. The store has a primer on Corsets for you.

Eo Nothing By Halves.

Thi! AVinamao Journal has this to say of our fair and its management: "The society's grounds embrace a wooded and veil watered pasture of sixty aores, with lloral hall and many other buildings. Tho display of stock each year is large and covers all tho noted breeds of horses, cattle,- etc. A Journal reporter visited the Montgomery county fair, one day last year, with 24,999 other people. That was a largo .attendance, but then the display of everything was immense. Tho people down thero do nothing by halves, but all unite with the officers to make their fairs a grand suocoss."

Their Opinion of John.

Tacoma Globe: Tho Walla Walla Union says: "During our r^oent extensive travels on Puget Sound wo hoard ouo universal expression, 'Give John L. Wilson another term.' The only opposition ho will have on Puget Sound is that worked up by men who want his shoes. Tho poople want Wilson in Congress, and they will have liim, no matter what tho politicians Bay." Our contemporary might have added that tho mirno is true all over tho State. Mr. Wilson has been a hard working reprosontativo, devoting his time and his offorts to tho interests of his Stato. Ho lias provon himself a voiy valuable man in Congress, and his constituents are intelligent enough to continue to avail thomsolvos of his services. Wilson is all right

Kicked By a Mule,

For sometimo past Houtz Myers and his two sons have been running a threshing machine and as apart of tho paraphanalia have used a .span of sly, mean, yellowed oyod mules. On Saturday afternoon whilo operating on tho Wayuotown road tho mulos woro turned out to the water tough and pretty soon George, tho 16 year old son of Hontz started after them. After somotimo, as ho failed to put in an appearance ho was searched for and found with tho uido of his head crushed in and to all appearance dead. Ho was taken to tho housj and medical aid summonod at moo. After lying unoonscious for many hours ho finally rallied yesterday forenoon and was able to recognize those arouiul him. Eastern capitalists could not be in terested in the onterprise of piping gos into Crawfordsvillo. Ou Grawfordsville getting it or anyone olse that lays so that a pipe line must pass near us depends our Bueoess. Tho New York capitalists think that about $360,000 is tho nooossary amount needed to put in the neoessary wells, lay the 40 milos of pipe and put mains in Crawfcrdsville,

Darlington and Thorntown, and reported back through the Crawfordsvillo representative that if the local peoplo would furnish 8100,000 capital they would find tho $250,000 if on looking over tho field they found the conditions favorable for a good investment. That they are well in earnest is well demonstrated in the fact that they immediately sent an on gineer to lock over tho ground Tuis ho did this week, passing through Thorntown Tuesday and has explored every inch of tho ground from Crawfordsville through Darlington, Thorntown and Kirklin into tho gas fields of Hamilton county, and ero this bo is in New York and wo are broathlessly awaiting what ho will report back. It certainly can not bo other than good news, as it is eortainly a good invostmont to capital. The Argus has not put down any wells nor bnilt any railroads, but belioves an oven $250,000 will suillce for tho entire matter of piping, sinking ten wells, putting mains in three towns, and beliovos it would yield $50,000 annually to tho investors, or 20 per cent, on tho investment. Crawfordsvillo would use not a oontless than $30,000 per year, whilo $10,000 does not cover tho amount expended in Thorntown yearly for wood and coal, which would all be replaced with gas. Darlington should bo worth $5,000 yearly and Kirklin and the farmers all along the lino that would top it another $5, 000. Wo still want gas. In fact, wu are all watching for gas.

A 6dow 1'lnnt from tho Sierra.

Ono of tho rarest plants known to botanists has been brought to this city by E. L. Swartz and Is on exhibition in the windows of down town florist. It is known as tho snow plant and was found by Mr. Swartz growing near snowbanks In the Sierras, 0,000 foot above tho sea level. Tho plant is indigenous to high and frozen altitudes and is a curiosity. It grows to tho height of four or five Inches, and when it blooms, which is goon after tho spring thaw, it bears tho appearance of a dark reddish pino cone sqt upright on tho ground. It emits an odor that isnotunliko thatof tho lioneytuckle. Tho vnltio attached to it is on account of its rarity, and the plant secured by Mr. Swartz is doubtless tho first cvfcr brought to this city.—San Francisco Examiner.
