Sheep-killing dogs ore again at work on t he Hocks near the city. Nat. U. Hill had six killed and a number seriously crippled last week on his farm south of town. His tenaut, Jsbn Browniug, discovered a largo deg among the sheep and promptly killed it. There is no use trying to raise sheep and dojjs in the same locality. The legislature should have passed a law protecting the dogs from the ravages of the bloodthirsty sheep. James Morris jr. was married Sunday afternoon a week at Marsinshurg to Miss Watts. Mr. Morris is the son of James Morris, east of town, and the bride is the daughter of John Watts, a farmer of Washington county. Mr. and Mrs. Morris will make their future home on a farm near Salem.
