A Hat Headed Preacher. Prom Pratt (Kas.) Timesl
An Evangelist by the name of Rev. ,luhn M. Goodwin has been conducting a series of revival meetings at the Christian church during the past week and caused considerable commotion in the congregation. Ooc night last week Mrs. F. A. Clark was occupying a seat with her little baby, and tke restlessness of the baby aeems to have "rattled" the preacher, He suggested that the bahy be removed to tbe vestibule of tbe church, and the mother was making arrangements to comply with the request when tbe bnby again began to cry. This caused the preacher to stop in bis discourse and remarked in emphatic tones that if the baby waa not removed from the room he would Htop preaching. The mother and about one-third of the congregation got up and left the room and the preacher told them be was glad to see them go. The following dav the Rev. Goodwin nas informed that he might gird up ItU luius and depart. . The congregation was greatly mortified at the rudeness of the man. They have made arrangements to secure the assistance of Rev. O.
