Stewart, the mother ol' Uohert Stewart of
Sloouimgton, and James Q. Stewart, died
at ber heme near Lawrenceport, Hay aist, Kfid 87 years. The burial occurred at Lawrencuport Hat Saturday.
Mrs. Stewart bad visited her
son at this place and wis a well known and highly respected lady, whose death will be sincerely re
gretted by ail. The county commissioners
have bad a busy sesiou during the past week, and have done some very important work. The connty
is in good otwuuton financially,
and the commissioners have been doing their best to bring about this state of; affairs.
