Benuarkable Restoration, A remarkable story comes from Cardiff, Wales. A collier named David Davies of Treherbert was a sufferer by a great explosion that ocourred in 1880. For four years after he was confined to his bed' Ho then gradually got about, but remained deaf and dumb from the shook. A doctor advised him to try a shook somewhat similar to that which had caused his infirmity. A little while ago he placed himself near where six shots were to be fired in the Bute Pit, and, strange to say, at the sixth shot his hearing returned to him. Still he was dumb, but on a subsequent Sunday the Bev. E. Rowland, missionary to the deaf mutes, said something to Davies which put him in a passion, and he involuntarily or instinctively made an attempt to express his anger. To his amazement the power of speech came back, and he now talks freely. He, however, says that speaking makes his throat sore, and his tongue is made sore by his teeth. Ah to Breathing. The following heretofore unheard-of information in regard to the breath and breathing was made publio in Kentucky recently by a sehool-boy of 12 years, who wrote au essay of the subjoet. We breathe with our lungs, our lights, our kidneys, and our livers. If it wasn't for our breath we would die when we slept. .Our breath keeps the life a-going through our nose when we are as pep. Boya who stay in ft room all day should not breathe. They should wait till they get out in the fresh air. Boys in ft room make bad air called carbonitride. Carbonioide is as poison as-mad dogs. A lotof soldiers were once in a black hole in Calcutta and carbonioide got in there and killed them. Girls sometimes ruin the breath with corsets that squeaze the diagram. A big diagram is the best for the right kind of breathing. Jesuit Estates in Canada. The cable extends between two points at a distance of 4,700 feet apart, the hight of the first support being about 470 feet above tbe present levol of the river, and the second about 740 feet. The cable in question is said to be the longest in tho world, with a single exception namely, the cable across the Kisnah, measuring some 5,070 feet. Seised some twelvo years ago with what the abiost physicians termed fatal kidney disease, ho was miraculously restored to health by what ia now known as Warnor"s Safe Ouro. At once ho resolved to ainko known the merits of so potent a remedy, and the oonscqnence is that to-day he has immonse laboratories and warehouses in the United States. Canada. England. Germany, Austria, Australia, and Burmah. Sales of his Safo Remedies are enormous, and their power over disease simply marvelous. The merit of a production is In exact keeping with the obaraetcr of Hs producer. An honest and reliable man himself. Mr. Wurnor makes honest and reliable mediolnes a fact abundantly attested by their phenomenal effloacy ana popularity. Too Fond of Base Ball. Mrs. Frontpew I think it is shocking the interest our minister is taking in base ball. Why, I saw him out playing yesterday afternoon with, a lot of boys from the college. "Oh, I dont know that there is anything wrong about base ball." , Mrs. F.l don't say that it's really immoral, but by and by he'll get a curve pitch, as they call it, and either leave the pulpit or want $10,000 a year. Chicago Herald. Cbeditob I've a bone to pick with you. Physician Excuse me, my cissectiug hour has passed. lid-Bile.
