It, another steer and six hogs were bitten several days ago by a rabid dog. The other steer died onThuradav. This one baa been confined in a strong pen, and hundreds of neonle have seen it daily. When thrown So ear of corn it will dive after it, and after slobbering over it and munching it, will drop it. The hogs have also been confined, but have not yet shown symptoms ef hydrophobia.
