Paoli News: A disastrous wreck occurred on the little Monon lost Thursday. The regular train from Orleans to French Lick Springs was running alone nicely until within about a half a mile of Paoli when the trucks of a freight car became detached which derailed the freight car, heavily loaded with pine lumber, and' tbe passenger; mail and express coach til rowing tbem down an embankment, where they caught fire and were burned up. All the passengers were saved although some of tbem were con siderably bruised snd terribly trtgntened. All man and express matter for Paoli and French Lick was burned, but the West Baden mail was saved. Mrs. Georze Quarterman was the most severely nruised but not seriously. Malaohi Monk received some bruises and broken rib. Several of our eitizens were on the train and great uneasi ness was felt, but all got home alive, but considerably shaken .up. Loss about 84,000.
