The Awful Keiult of a Collision. (Erie (Fa.) special. A frightful accident ooenned on the Niokel-plate Road to-day whereby three lives were lost. Mrs. John Doulin, with her babe and little boy and nurse girl, Rude Mahoney, was riding in tho caboose. The train stopped on a trestle over a ravine at SpriUjjfield, where it s run into by another freight. Sirs. Ooulin grasped her babe and boy and ran out ou the p atform, followed by the nurse, when all were hurled over into Ihe abyss, 10U feet in depth. Mrs. Donhu and the nurse were mangled to death, but tho baby was caught in the boughs of a tiee and may possibly recover. Mrs. Donlin held on to her child until it was torn from her grasp by the wires below. She was terribly mangled by the wires about the breast. Brakeman Thomas Fahey was seriously injured in the collision.

A Case in Wisconsin. Madison (Wis.) special.) The annual session of the Dane County Medical Society was held here this week, at-d was the most interesting in its history. The striking feature of the neuBkm was the preseuiation of John Iversim, a Norwegian, 19 years old, who is suffering from leprosy. Iverson was reared new Stoughton, this county, and inherited nhe disease, though it had net developed in the family for fifty years prior to his case. Two years ago he was attneked with what s?emed to be rheumatism. Soon his nostrils closed, and he wos hardly able (o breatac, while at the Kame time h became partially deaf. Bloating of the fare aud the entire body followed, and to-day ihey present a horrible appearance, small sores existing; here aud there in exposed places.
