What Will Become of Hen Who Make Such Unfounded Statements?
As every intelligent man knows tbat the Sheriff has nothing whatever to do with creating the regular panel, we give the names of the talesmen jurors only. Since last week's publication the list of talesmen for November, 1880, has been secured, and the entire list is now produced below, as eonelusive proof that the Courier's article, and the statements now being made by some of the county candidates on the Democratic ticket, are malicious and without any foundation whatever. Bloomington dry and Bloomington township are -largely Republican, as are also the surrounding townships of Ferry, Van Buren and Richland j as a result, the bystanders and spectators in the court room average two Republicans to ione Democrat, and it is from these that the sheriff is required to call bis talesmen when 'regular jurors are objected off by attorneys in a suit. These facts are undeniable, and it is shown by the names and figures below tbat the jurymen called by the sheriff are in jud that proportion, and not five Republicans
to one Democrat, as the Courier

Rich fabrics are now piled up on Benj. McGee's , shelves, from which he is cutting some very handsome and stylish suits of clothes (the wedding suits are all made by McGee) and it is astonishing how well you may dress if you will expend thirty-five or forty dollars with the Prince ot Merchant Tailors McGee. He seldom loses a customer, except by death, and it would surprise you to see the orders he receives from far-away points. McGee does hones t work, uses firstclass materials, and his suits fit perfectly. What more could you ask. Daily additions are being made to the prime stock of Groceries kept on sale by Hemp. Wilson the "Progress Block" Grocer. Wilson has a good country trade, numbering among it the most careful farmers in the county, whose good wives make the choicest butter and cheese. He has a big butter trade as a result, because he keeps only the bett. Some special bargains are offered in Coffee at Wilson's grocery, aud sugar and tea are sold as cheap as at any house. Skillful barbers are not as plentiful as some persons might beliove, and it is best to have your shaving and hair cutting dene by men who thoroughly understand their business. Era. Everybody and their boys are requested to calil at Kahn & Tannenbaum's and see the handsome new Fall styles in clothing. The Democratic office seekers of Monroe county are a queer set. They go forth, and in school houses and by-ways make all manner of assertions, many of them with little or no foundation, bat it is vefy wrong for tlie Bepublicans to come baok at them they growl and rave about such things terribly. A case in point: The Courier published a batch of statements about juries stating tbat Jive times as much money was paid to Republican jurymen as to Democrats, during Major Grimes' administration. The Progress shows this to be untrue and calls attention to a jury drawn in the Auditor's office in 1880. Oh that's terrible! It is all right to
