Mr. Fielding Lett, of Trainings county, has lost his best jack, and he expects to lose every one he has. The celebrated Dcnsford jack, who has made a great reputation in Washington and Grassy Fork townships,is also dead. If this fatality should be general, it will be a great loss to our farmers and stock raisers. Seymovcr Demoerat. Bird Adams, residing in the north part of Martin County, has become a " hanging bird;" shuffling off the mortal coil through the assistance of a coil of rope. He had been absent from the State some two years, and just returned home on Saturday. He got off the train at Loogootee, and went out to the neighborhood of his old home, and went directly to his father's barn and hung himself. No cause for this rash act is known to exist. His father is well and favorably known, and is one of the best citizens ia his neighborhood.
