State Fa ib. The Indiana State Fair, for 1872, will open at Indianapolis, on Monday, Sept ember 30th, and dose on Saturday, October 5th. It is expected that it will be the largest exhibition of the kind ever held in the State, as the officers have greatly increased the amount of their premiums. m m It is believed that the reason Horace Greeley didn't offend the Democracy when he called them a set of "horse thieves, blacklegs, pugilists," &c, is because Ise told the truth. At least the Democratic papers and speakers are now supporting him because they say he is "a truthlul man."
