Last night, (Friday) about half past 9 o'clock, the Richardson boys (sons of Ira,) assisted by Wolf and ShepIiard, caught Trueblood, and, after mocking him down, tied a rope around ais neck and swung him up to a tr.-e, threatening to take his
life unless he told who burned the j barn. Trueblood, if he knew, refused to divulge anything, and, after considerable rough treatment, he was turned loose, after being admonished to say nothing of what had happened, if he valued his life. Immediately on being released, he came to town and made an affidavit against the parties, all of whom were arrested about daylight this morning, at the residence of Ira Richardson.
