I'lIE PARTICULARS : Th j Democracy of Monroe county held -i mooting at tha Court House, on Saturday, to appoint delegates to the State Convention, and tor the j)urpte of reorganizing the Central Conn littee. The delegates had been appointed before we arrived, and Mr. Marlin was talking abor t the Central Committee. Looking aroui d the room, re observed that John It. them together when the interests of the r.ar'.y required that they should meet But Mr. Marlin's suggestion was adopted, and Counselor Buskirk offered a resolution that there shond be one member from each township, excepting the townships

The members of the committee from the ten outside townships, were; soon selected, and when Perry was calieL John Riley, Matthew McPheJ ridge, and B. F. Rogers were chosen. Then came Bloomington. Edward Gregory and Hugh Marlin were accepted, when Mr. Marlin

Counselor Bu.' kirk said he "didn't know about that he was too clever; but hat his paitner, the gentleman from Indian Creek, (East,) would be the proper person," and so the r. e. was snubbed.
