been 'guilty of official and moral misconduct,' and ii motion having been
made to expel them, the former imme
diately resigned. Bishop, however, held on to his seat, and the proposition to expel him was rejected, 16 to 12. On the annunciation of this vole, Messrs. Young and Van Schaick, who had been chiefly instrumental in bringing to light the criminality of Bishop and Kemble, resigned their seats.
