Calendar of events Thursday Temple Lodge No. 47 F&AM will celebrate the feast of St. John at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27 with Cloverdale Lodge No. 132 at the Cloverdalc Masonic Temple. All members are invited. Women’s Support Group meets from 7-9 p.m. each Thursday at Family Support Services office, 122 W. Washington St. Call 653-4820 for more information. Sunday The Madison Township Fire Dept, will have turkey shoots at 1 p.m. each Sunday at the firehouse. Bring own table service and a covered dish. The community is invited to attend. Tuesday The Cunot Can Do’s will have their annual New Year’s Day square dance from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1 at Forest Park Elementary in Brazil. The caller will be Jerry Workman, along with other guest callers and cucrs. Everyone is welcome. Thursday Larrabec Lodge No. 131, F & AM, Stilesville, will hold its regular stated meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3. All members are urged to attend. All visiting master Masons are welcome.

By Better Homes and Gardens This entree has posh seafood flavor at an affordable price. Just layer shrimp-tomato and cheesy fish sauces between lasagna noodles. For easier serving, be sure to let the casserole stand after baking so the cheese sauce cools a bit. SEAFOOD LASAGNA One 8-ounce package refrigerated or frozen crab-flavored fish pieces Two 14 Ms- or 16-ounce cans stewed tomatoes, cut up Ms cup sliced fresh mushrooms Ms teaspoon dried oregano, crushed Vi teaspoon onion powder Dasn salt Dash pepper Vz cup small cooked shrimp or one 4‘4-ounce can shrimp, drained 3 tablespoons margarine or butter 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour 1% cups milk 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese Mi cup dry white wine 8 lasagna noodles, cooked Mi cup grated Romano or Parmesan

cheese Thaw crab-flavored fish, if frozen. Cut into bite-size pieces; set aside. For tomato sauce, in a medium saucepan combine undrained tomatoes, mushrooms, oregano, onion powder, salt and pepper. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, about 20 minutes or until thickened. Stir in shrimp. Set aside. For cheese sauce, in a medium saucepan melt margarine or butter. Stir in flour. Add milk all at once. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 minute more. Stir in Swiss cheese until melted. Stir in crab-flavored fish and wine. In an 11- by 7- by IMi-inch baking dish, layer half the shrimp sauce, half the noodles, and half the cheese sauce. Repeat layering. Top with Romano or Parmesan cheese. Bake, uncovered, in a 350-degree F oven about 25 minutes or until heated through. Let stand 15 minutes before serving. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
