‘His Last Days’ set at First Assembly of God Sunday evening

First Assembly of God Church of Greencastle will present the musical, cantata-drama, “His Last Days,” by Dallas Holm, at 6 p.m. Easter Sunday. David Fields is featured as Jesus and will sing several songs, including “Rise Again” and “Do You Believe in Me?” OTHER SINGING leads are Susan Boden as Mary, Scott Coffin as Peter, Steve Moell as the Roman centurion and Donna Baskin as the adulterous woman. MANHATTAN Manhattan Baptist Church will hold an Easter sunrise service at 7 a.m. Sunday at the church. Following the service, breakfast will be served by the men of the church at 8 o’clock in fellowship hall.

Haw Creek weekend meeting set ROACHDALE A weekend meeting is scheduled this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Church of Christ at Haw Creek, located a mile north of Roachdale. Bro Cletus Ellett of Bloomington will be preaching Lord’s Day service at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Easter Sunday, with Friday and Saturday services at 7:30 p.m. A basket lunch will be served Sunday in the Lions’ Hall at Roachdale. The closing service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at the church. Everyone is invited to attend any or all of the special weekend services at Haw Creek.

The sunrise service will be followed by an all-church breakfast and Easter egg hunt for the children. During the 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship, the choir will present a special hymn for Easter.
