This program is funded by $5.5 million from Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended. These funds are to be used to provide public improvements related to a specific private investment. Putnam County will apply for a grant In the amount of SIOO,OOO In order to improve road access to the Automotive Industries’ site. Of the total grant amount, approximately $38,250 will benefit low and moderate income persons. This project will not result in any displacement of business or persons, therefore, no plan for displacement is necessary. Tha Board of Commissioners of Putnam County will hold a public hearing on May 4, 1987, at 8:00 o’clock in the Commissioners' Room in the Courthouse in Greencastle, Indiana to provide citizens an opportunity to axpress their views on the proposed project as well as on past county development and housing activities and current community development and housing needs.
