GERALD E. ENSOR for Sheriff
Gerald E. Ensor's involvement in law enforcement spans more than 11 years. Ten of those years he served as a reserve deputy in the sheriff's department, both as captain and president. His extensive training and knowledge of jail procedures and operations highly qualify him to serve as sheriff. Presently Ensor is the commanding officer of the Greencastle City Police Reserves. He is involved as a hunter safety education instructor for the department of natural resources.
His firearm certifications include: NRA home firearms safety instructor and 4-H firearms leader instructor. He has completed the “First Responder" medical course. Wife Sandy, son Gene, and daughter Missy support Jerry in his various activities. He has worked closely with young people through 4-H, Little League, and Babe Ruth baseball. A Navy Air Force veteran, Jerry served in the Far East, mainly on the South China Sea. He is a member of the First Christian Church of Greencastle. His masonic affiliations are also meaningful to him as well as his memberships in Lions Club, Elks and V.F.W. When elected, Jerry will assure the public that all calls will be answered in a timely and professional manner. He places a high priority on officer training VOTE REPUBLICAN Pd. for by Put. Co. Rep.
