The West Floyd Homemakers will meet at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, at the home of Mae Louise Ader. Lena Bryan will present the lesson on “How to use and improve your memory. ” Chapter I, P.E.0., will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, at the home of Mrs. Sam Stickle. Mrs. Ted Sanders will present the program. There will be a stated convocation of Chapter 22, R.A.M., at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, at the Masonic Temple, followed by a stated meeting of Council 107 of R. & S.M. Refreshments and a social hour will follow. Ail area women are invited to the “Home Sweet Home” luncheon of the Greencastle Christian Women’s Club noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, m the ballroom of the DePauw Student Union. Thursday The DePauw Duplicate Bridge Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at the DePauw Student Union. Meetings will continue every Thursday thereafter. The Beech Grove Ladies Aid will meet all day Thursday, Jan. 9, at the church. There will be a pot luck dinner. Members are asked to come early. The Jefferson Extension Homemakers Club will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at the home of Donna Frye. Roll call will be “My favorite kitchen gadget,” which members are asked to bring for show and tell. Make Today Count, an organization that supports those with serious illnesses in Hendricks, Marion, Morgan and Putnam counties, will have its annual auction at the 7:30 p.m. meeting Thursday, Jan. 16, at the Plainfield United Methodist Church. Dr. Howard Brooks will discuss Halley’s Comet 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, at the Putnam County Library. The program is free to anyone in fourth grade through adults.
