Dear Abby Too much 'swinging' in widower's golfing trips

DEAR ABBY. I am a widow who has been dating a widower 15 years my senior for over a year and a half. I knew “BJ” had a lengthy relation ship with another widow his age, but I assumed it was over. He gave me a royal rush, our romance blossomed and we declared our love. After a while his Saturday nights were spent with “family.” “Golfing trips” also took a lot of his time. I had the shock of my life when one of my friends saw him with his old ladyfriend one Saturday night. I felt it was over between us, so when he asked me out again, I accepted in order to tell him he couldn’t have both of us, but when I did, he insisted that I was his choice. I was wrong. He is still seeing her and lying about it. Last evening he said he couldn’t see me because he was having dinner at the club. “The club” was her house. I let him know that I knew. He refuses to discuss it openly and maturely. Is he sowing his wild oats? At 72! I have asked him why he got involved with me if he is still involved with her. No response. I want him for myself. How can I get him to discuss it? NOT ENOUGH FOR HIM

“I’m trying to find out what I can do to help in the way of organization with the Putnam County Playhouse. “I have 22 years of experience in the motion picture industry that I would like to give back. Who knows, there could be another (director Stephen) Speilberg. “Who knows what talents could be out there?” Benson questioned. “The possibilities are exciting. Hopefully, one day maybe we can bring in touring (theater) companies.” BENSON ALSO IS EXCITED about DePauw University’s presence in Putnam County, adding to its creative arts base. “The fact that this is a college town... the connection there is just wonderful.” Eventually, Benson would like to see Putnam County become a showcase for the arts. And with the drive and persistence he witnesses from the Putnam County Playhouse and its board, he believes that could very definitely become a reality. “Why can’t we have people coming here and looking at this local community for theater?” he questioned. “Maybe we should get out and show our product. The dedication I’ve seen here for the past 20 years has been one of persistence.” “Their heart is there and the board is very active,” Benson said in praise of the Playhouse. “They have done a professional job and I’m pleased to be a part of those strong connections.”

along with Joe, 28, Jon, 21, and Joanie, 25. To promote the fair, Miss Buser would emphasize the exhibits. “I would tell people how hard the younger people have to work to get their exhibits done,” she notes. In addition, she would stress activities ongoing in the Community Building and the livestock shows. Miss Buser is a people-oriented person. “I like to help people,” she said, while describing herself. “I like to find out who they really are and like to really get to know them.” MOST PEOPLE who really know’ her can attest that music, indeed, plays an important part in her life. Asked what appeals to her most about directing, she said, “I just really love
