FAME FAN I think I must have seen just about every episode of "Fame” since it first went on the air. I particularly love a lot of the songs that the various characters sing and play. If you’re really a fan, the title won’t surprise you much. It was called “The Jerry Reed When You’re Hot You’re Hot Hour” and ran as a summer replacement for “The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour” in 1971. BUBBLE BOY Please settle a dispute between myself and a friend. He says that John Travolta starred in an old TV movie called “The Boy in the Plastic Bubble,” but I’m sure it was Robby Benson. The answer is a little tougher than you think. In the early shows, the “hunk” was George Maharis. But when he left the show, Martin Milner’s new partner was played by Glen Corbett. THAT’S NO JOKE On the old “Batman” series, did Burgess Meredith play The Joker? Also, can you please tell me how old he is and where he’s originally from? F.C. Actually, Meredith played The Penguin and Cesar Romero portrayed The Joker. The versatile Meredith was born in Cleveland on Nov. 16, 1908
