Sampson is playing like all-star

R > The Associated Press K.ilph Sampson put on an inspiring per forma nee in the National Basketball Association’s All-Star Game last Sunday, and no one was more inspired by it than Ralph Sampson “I came out ready to play after the AllStar game.” Sampson said after scoring 27 points to lead the Houston Rockets to a 126114 victory over the Phoenix Suns Tuesday night. When the Rockets faltered in the fourth quarter, Sampson showed the stuff that blade him the Most Valuable Player of the All-Star Game. The 7-foot-4 forward scored nine points in a four-minute spurt to ensure the victory over the Suns.
