THE PSYCHOMETRIST and teacher then complete the information and present the information to the case conference committee (teachers, parents, and principal ). All the information is discussed and a recommendation for Todd to remain in regular education or to be placed in special education is made. If it is decided that Todd does qualify for a special education program, an Individualized Education Plan (lEP) is written with goals/and objectives to meet his special needs. When the lEP is completed and Mrs. Jones gives her written permission. Todd can start receiving the special help that he needs.
