Pacer rookie honored INDIANAPOLIS (AP) Clark Kellogg, who averaged 21.6 points and 10.7 rebounds in 13 games for the Indiana Pacers during December, has been named Rookie of the Month by the National Basketball Association. The 6-foot-7 forward from Ohio State scored in double figures in 12 games and was over 20 points 10 times in December. He also shot 51 percent from the field. Kellogg, the seventh player chosen in last year’s college draft, beat out Terry Cummings and Craig Hodges of San Diego, James Worthy of Los Angeles, Dominique Wilkins of Atlanta, Cliff Levingston of Detroit and Trent Tucker of New York, the NBA said Wednesday.
